In commercial applications of Flinders Calcium Silicate at one of the major turf farms in the Scenic Rim over the last 18 months they have observed the following results:
Higher yields due to less waste going to compost pile as integrity of slabs much stronger, holding together tighter as a result of greater quantity of thicker roots.
Shorter time between re-cuts
Thicker more vigorous roots
Longevity of the colour of leaf and shelf life after cutting increased due to thicker cell walls
We have growers using the Calcium Silicate on soils that crust badly – they are “Sugar coating” after seeding and watering it in. They are getting increased and more even germination results also saving money not having to keep the soil wet/soft till the seed emerges.
Other benefits of Flinders Calcium Silicate
